Kelley is a Senior Environmental Consultant who has been a member of the inhouse Geoenvironmental Team since early 2023.

Geo-environmental Consultant

Dan is a Geo-environmental Consultant who joined A-squared at the start of 2022 as the first graduate to be welcomed into the inhouse geo-environmental team. During his time at A-squared Dan has been involved in delivering whole life-cycle projects from initial risk assessment to remediation design and implementation.

Pamela is an Engineer with international experience in Nigeria and the UK. Since joining A-squared, she has led and contributed successfully to ground engineering projects within the team.

Grauduate Engineer

Hailing from the Italian city of Napoli, with keen sense of Jazz, Blues and Rock music. Paola joined A-squared Studio in the first month of 2023, and within her first year Paola has been working on some very interesting and insightful projects!

Principal Engineer

First of all. He’s not a cat! Marco is a Geotechnical Engineer with experience in the field of geotechnical engineering applied to high-rise buildings and to deep basement developments.

Josie is a Senior Engineer who started her consultancy and design career in New Zealand and the Pacific. Since joining A-squared in 2022 her focus areas have included basement and substructure design.

Office Administrator

Emiel joined A-squared in late 2022, and was welcomed as A-squared Studio’s Office Administrator and first non-engineer to join the team. While the rest of the team focus on projects. Emiel shadows as part of the back-end staff organising and assisting in operations across A-squared Studio.

Senior Engineer

Alex is a Senior Engineer who joined A-squared in Summer 2021 where he has gained extensive UK and international experience, tackling complex ground conditions such as dissolution features and mining cavities. He has led a range of projects involving tall buildings, bridges, residential developments and urban infrastructure.

Angelo is an engineer with experience in the field of geotechnical and structural engineering. He has been involved in a wide range of projects in Europe, the United States and the Middle East region.

Craig is a geotechnical engineer with experience in both buildings projects and infrastructure projects. Craig joined A-squared after completing his post-graduate studies and has been involved with numerous projects across the UK and globally.

Geo-environmental Consultant

Dustin is a Geo-environmental Consultant at A-squared. Since joining the company in late 2022, Dustin has managed various contaminated land projects across England. This includes pre-planning documentations via Phase I Geo-environmental Desk Studies, Phase II Geo-environmental Assessments, and Soil Waste Assessments amongst others.

Jessica is an Engineer who joined A-squared after working as a contract engineer on the HS2 project in the West Midlands. Since joining A-squared in late 2022, her focus areas include both deep and shallow foundation design across the UK.

Senior Engineer

Qi Cheng Sia is a Senior Engineer at A-Squared Studio, where he brings a wealth of experience to the table. Having commenced his journey with A-Squared in 2020 as a graduate, he has successfully contributed to over 150 projects in the United Kingdom and international locations.

Principal Geo-environmental Consultant

Finlay is a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant that joined A-squared as one of their first inhouse geo-environmental consultants in early 2021. Since joining Finlay has overseen and managed both small and large-scale contaminated land projects in the UK through their entire life-cycle.

Engineer

Haaris is an Engineer with experience in consulting gained through working in A-squared’s design team. Since joining A-squared in 2021 Haaris has demonstrated a good technical competence in detailed design work, including deep foundations, ground improvement solutions, slope stability, and temporary works design (including prop analysis); as well as risk management.

Alex is a Director at A-squared. He has project experience across the entire design and construction life-cycle, ranging from feasibility and concept design development to working alongside clients and contractors managing and delivering schemes.

Senior Design Manager

Sajad joined A-squared back in 2020. Since then he has been involved with the design of several complex and congested schemes in London. One notable scheme is Holborn Viaduct, where 5 Roman coffins were found during the excavation works, increasing the total number of intact coffins found in London from 3 to 8.

Alex is a Principal Engineer with wide-ranging experience in the buildings and infrastructure sectors. He has worked on a number of major rail and highway projects, as well as complex buildings projects across the UK and internationally. He is adept at leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver efficient, integrated solutions in challenging environments.

Alexandre is an Engineer who joined A-squared in the summer of 2021 working part-time throughout his Masters until joining full time a year later, since then he has gained extensive experience in projects across the UK and the Middle-East.

Anthony is a passionate geotechnical engineer who embarked on his journey with A-squared Studio in late 2023, bringing a wave of enthusiasm and expertise. Specialising in the intricate design of deep piled foundations, encompassing a diverse array of bearing piles and retaining walls, Anthony is a maestro of the underground realm.

Abubakar is an engineer who joined A-Squared in 2022 and has been involved in the design of various foundations and earth retaining systems. Few of the projects he worked on include the design of foundations for a roller coaster, piles and retaining walls required for Old Oak Common station, and the design of various temporary work systems required at Ardersier Port, Inverness.

Andrew is an Associate Director with 12 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been involved in a wide range of projects across the UK and abroad, focussing on delivering detailed geotechnical and structural design. Andrew has a passion for delivering value engineering on complex schemes, encouraging sustainable development and increasing health and safety on site.

Girolamo is a Graduate Engineer who joined A-squared after completing university in Italy. Since joining A-squared in late 2023, Girolamo has been involved with a diverse range of projects ranging from reuse of existing foundations, hydrogeological impact, and foundation design support for multi-storey structure.

Senior Engineer

Jonathan is a senior engineer at A-squared Studio having joined in 2022. He has amassed extensive experience in both the A-squared and Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering design departments, which has allowed him to develop a diverse skill set. His time as a site engineer on live projects has provided him with valuable hands-on experience. He is valued for his proactive approach, efficiency, and collaborative nature.
